The history of earth and all its lifeforms. Fascinating!

Kaisermuhlen, Vienna, Austria
Waning Gibbous
Clear and sunny 55º? I guess it could be…  I’m not sweating this morning like usual.
7:33 am. I am SO glad I didn’t turn my nose up at the Natural History Museum, thinking it was just a big tourist trap. On the bus tour, I learned that it is one of the world's oldest and largest natural history research facilities and that the research continues.

I spent all of my energy there yesterday and took 150 pictures! You’ll definitely want to flip through these! They’re amazing, despite the glare from the glass cases that frequently appears.

I ran out of speed before I could even start on the fish, crustaceans, and ocean life. If I ever come back to Vienna, I’ll buy a month-long pass and visit every day.

It was incredibly fascinating to trace the origins of the earth and life on earth.

Climate change, for example. There have been six ice ages before humans even got here. It’s clear that we have the power to create climate change, but I wonder if we could help out the earth and prevent negative climate change.

This is how my brain works. And I am more convinced than ever that there is no real way to get to the real truth of anything. Even what we witness with our own eyes and ears as we each have a specific lens through which we view things.

As soon as we see something, we create our own narrative.

I’m probably heading to the UK for the rest of the year, after Norway. Then in 2025, searching out longer days and clearer skies.

Happy Weekend!
